Dr. Bean began practice in 1997. He has practiced in Sequim since 1999.

Training and experience

From 2017 to 2020, he worked with the Park City Winter Olympic ski team.
In 2024, he completed a Johns Hopkins master's in neurophysiology.
As an OR neurophysiologist, he monitored the nervous system during complex spine surgeries and tumor extractions from San Diego to British Columbia for about two years.
He then returned to Sequim.

Family and downtime

Dr. Bean has been married 32 years and has five children (2 girls, 3 boys). In his downtime he enjoys surfing the north coast, fishing the strait, lakes, and rivers, and hiking, backpacking, and camping.
